Easy Easter Crafts
We want to describe some things that you can do with your own hands together with your children and won't be expensive at all. Nearly everything you need you may find around the house.
Bubble Photo Frames
Things needed: a short wide mouth cup, dish detergent, water, food coloring, paper photo frames, a straw.
Buy several paper photo frames in the scrap-booking section of any craft store and some grocery stores. Pour some water into the cup and add a drop or two of dish detergent. Color the water with food coloring. Then with the help of the straw form bubbles in the water surface in the cup.
The photo frame must be pressed slightly to the bubbles and quickly taken away. The result is in a special patterns of spots formed by the bubbles. Go on touching the surface of the water until you reach the wished picture. If you use not one cup with various paints in them the frame will be multicolored.
Grass Basket
Things needed: basket with plastic liner, potting soil, rye-grass seed, gravel, charcoal(optional)
Drainage is necessary so cover the bottom of the basket with gravel. Continue with the layer of charcoal on the gravel. The things will have good odor in spite of the possible over watering. Then fill the basket with topsoil up to approximately ½ from the edge. Throw the grass seed onto the soil.
Then the grass seed is to be covered with additional soil. The soil is to be watered and maintained always moist. Arrange the ready basket in the sunny warm place. You will be grad to watch the sprouts in 4-7 days. After the grass reaches the height of one inch, shorten it with scissors. Begin the work in time, and on Easter the most charming baskets for eggs will be ready.
Indoor Basketball
Things needed: styrofoam cup, tissues, tape, scissors
Take a knife and cut the bottom out of the styrofoam cup. This is a basket. It is to be fixed by the tape to the wall, onto a door or on the side of a bookcase. Wad up some tissues to use as your basketball. You might make three per person. Each person gets three tries at making a basket. If you make a basket you get a point. Play until someone gets 25 points.
The children are always glad to participate in making something unusual and consider such activities to be wonderful. They know that Easter bunnies are traditional for Easter and they can use both real and plastic eggs to make them. Put some tasty regale into them and the result will be excellent. So you needn’t to spend much time to make the above things but you will be so happy to see that your nearest and dearest are glad to receive such a nice present.
